William A. Greisner III, M.D.

Principal Investigator

Dr. Greisner is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. He trained in internal medicine at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. He completed his pediatric and adult allergy and immunology fellowship at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island.

He is an author of several medical articles and has presented research at national and international meetings. Dr. Greisner is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and has been practicing at Bluegrass Allergy Care for the past 25 years.

He currently serves as the Medical Director for a local food allergy support group, President of the Blue Grass Society of Allergy & Asthma in Lexington, KY, and is on the board for the Eastern Allergy Conference, a regional organization.

Kristen N. Evans, APRN

Sub-Investigator

Kristen Evans is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been a nurse practitioner since 2011 and has over 9 years of allergy, asthma, and immunology experience.

She graduated from Samford University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and received a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Kentucky in 2011.

She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, and the Sigma Theta National Honor Society of Nursing.

Jazzmen C. Wilson, CMA

Site Director

Jazzmen is a graduate of Spencerian College with a Medical Assistant Associate degree. She has five years of clinical experience in allergy/immunology and asthma. Since joining the clinic she is able to use her extensive allergy and asthma clinical experience in the research setting. Her expertise in spirometry and skin testing make Jazzmen a valuable asset to the clinic. She currently serves as the Site Director where she oversees multiple clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and the training of clinical staff in GCP and IATA guidelines.

Amber A. Ullstam, ASCP

Study Coordinator

Amber is a graduate of Spencerian College with a Phlebotomy certificate. She has over 12 years of experience in a laboratory/medical setting as well as 3 years in medical research. She currently serves as a Study Coordinator where she oversees multiple clinical trials and regulatory submissions, and is trained in GCP and IATA guidelines.

Jama L. Hughes, CMA

Un-blinded Pharmacist and Data Entry Coordinator

Jama received her CCMA certification through National Healthcare Association in 2019. She has two years of experience in allergy/immunology and asthma. Jama has served as our un-blinded pharmacist for the past two years and just began service as our data entry coordinator.
